Detroit is for Lovers is a motto I firmly believe in. The city of Detroit has been my muse and inspiration since I started to shoot and I have always strove to showcase the beauty that exists in this oft misunderstood city. What better way to promote Detroit than sharing a couple’s love with one another and that of their city? I have been a Detroit since 2012 and I always pride myself on being able to find unique spots for photographs that only someone who lives and breathes the city can. Lets explore Detroit together!

I would also like to note that I have shot many weddings around the country and abroad so rest assured your venue outside of the Detroit area is very welcome.

A little about myself and my approach…

I happen to be a huge architecture and design buff and at one time studied to be an architect before discovering my love of photography. I think that background plays a huge influence on my work and style. I am always looking for interesting compositions, and incorporating the environment when shooting couples, it’s the number one thing I am told that stands out about my photography. The couples I’ve worked with have also described my work as creative and timeless, and working with me as relaxed and enjoyable. I am terrible at self promotion, and am far more interested in learning about you than talking about myself, so I will let my couples’ words speak for me:

Each wedding and relationship is unique, and I really enjoy getting to know each one of my couples. It’s important to me that couples feel at ease during the day- It enables me to best document the day without much intrusion, but I’m also not afraid to jump in to ensure we get the best images possible. Because this relationship is so important to me, I only book a limited number of weddings each year. My goal with every wedding is to capture my couples and their relationships in an honest and genuine way, while having a blast in the process.
